The Spartan PLUS SATA Daisy chain series is a revolutionary solution that allows you to link up to 255 15-target towers for a maximum of 3825 targets simultaneously. Duplication can be made from a single master DVD/CD ROM or Hard Drive. Our professional version comes with a built-in 250GB HD and a USB 2.0 connection card. The Spartan PLUS features all the functions from our Spartan series such as 'DHP technology', which creates a hard drive partition to the size of each master disc image to maximize HDD space, and 'Master Error Proof technology', which allows you to replace a bad master disc and continue at mid burn without ever having to lose your blank disc.
USB 2.0 connection provides you with the option to link to your PC and use one of the DVD/CD-RW drive inside your duplicator tower as an external optical drive. It also features two password protection modes to restrict unauthorized access to your duplicator. Best of all, the auto startup display features can be customized to functions that you utilize most, including simple copy, test, verify, and copy & compare modes.
Whether you are a novice or a seasoned veteran, you will find the Spartan PLUS SATA system to be a great tool because of its speed, accuracy and reliability. All of which is enclosed in our durable casing and feature a screw-less thumbscrew design. The enhanced vented case air circulation system is designed to extend the life your duplication tower. - Prescan
Provides a quality check for the master disc before you make any duplication and to ensure you have an error free master disc.
- Quick Erase
Do a quick erase on your CD-RW & DVD-RW disc.
- Full Erase
Do a full erase on your CD-RW & DVD-RW disc.
- Eject All Disc
All drive trays are eject including the source drive.
- Disc Info
All information such as disc type, data length and available space are displayed.
- Drive Info
Allows checking the duplicator’s major component information, such as the manufacturer, reader and writer model number and firmware versions.
- System Info
Provides the duplicator’s information, such as controller model number and firmware version.
- Update BIOS
Future firmware upgradeable for increasing media compatibility & add functions. (Due to the drive compatibility issue, only update the firmware if necessary.
Optional button beep can be disabled for silent operation.
By turning on the “Skip
Read Error”, the system will try to skip any minor disc errors
in order to avoid copy failure.

| Spartan Plus FAQ | - What is Daisy Chain?
The term "Daisy Chain" refers to the serial connection between the towers that connects the towers to each other. For example, tower A is connected to tower B, and tower B is connected to tower C, etc.
- If I have 10 Spartan Plus units linked together and 1 drive goes bad in the middle of the duplication process, will all the discs go bad?
No, the machine will not fail all of the discs inside the towers. It will only fail that particular disc because the disc is bad or some other factors.
- Can the Spartan Plus tower be stand-alone?
Yes, the Spartan Plus towers can be configured to work in stand-alone mode or any number of possible configurations.
- So... I only need one master even if I have 100 towers?
Yes, one disc is all that is needed for 100 towers, whether that disc is a CD or DVD or loaded into the HDD.
- How many towers can be linked together?
At last count, the maximum number of systems that can be connected together in the Spartan Plus line is 255 towers.
- Can I load image to HD and start copying at the same time?
At this time, the Spartan Plus duplicators do not support loading the image to the HDD and copying simultaneously. This feature may be added at a later date.
- Is it hard to link one tower to another?
No, the connection of the cables between towers is color coded and simple to follow, and the option to configure the order of the towers is handled by the duplicator's Link Setup command for assigning tower order.
- Can I switch the positions of all the towers I have?
The towers can be arranged in any configuration desired.
- How many watts are in the Spartan Plus's power supply?
The power supply for each Spartan Plus duplicator tower is 400 W.
- How many fans does one case come with? Why is it important?
The number of fans inside each case for the Spartan Plus duplicator is seven. Six for the drives, plus one for the power supply. The fans provide proper circulation and cooling for the drives to ensure proper operation for your Spartan Plus duplicator.
- Can I link two different Daisy Chain towers together? Ex: One built with Pioneer drives and the other one built with NEC drives.
Linking two towers together of different brands of drives (ex. One is Pioneer, another NEC) can be done, but is not recommended. Certain tower configurations have different burn specifications which may or may not be compatible with each other.
- Can I use longer Daisy Chain link cable to link between the towers?
The DC cable supplied for each tower is specified to work with the Spartan Plus duplicator. Longer DC cables are not recommended because data transfer may become difficult over longer cables and could damage your unit.
